Cinemark Movie Clubhouse: Cloudy with a Chance
of Meatballs
When: July 21-22 10:00
Beat the heat at the Cinemark Movie Clubhouse on
Grand Parkway.  Tickets are $1.00! Be sure to
purchase your tickets early.
KVPAC (Katy Visual and Performing Arts Center)
Bowl Me Over Charity Event
When: 7/22/2010
Where: Ceramics by Tess
402 W. Grand Pkwy #115
5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Volunteers are needed to paint ceramic bowls for use
at a KVPAC community event, "Empty Bowls" and
100% of proceeds feed hungry children. Families
with children welcome No art talent or experience is
needed, just a willingness to help - all supplies and
professional instruction provided. Seating is limited,
phone Tess at 281-392-3161 for a reservation.
Winnie the Pooh Performance
When: 07/23/2010 - 07/24/2010
Where: Katy Visual and Performing Arts Center
2501 S. Mason Rd., Ste. 290
KVPAC will perform the children's classic as part of
its summer Broadway series.  Winnie the Pooh
suddenly finds himself in terrible trouble when Kanga
comes to the forest with soap for baths and
spoonfuls of medicine. Something must be done!

Summer Movie Camp with AMC Cinema's at the
Katy Mills Mall
When: July 27
Where: AMC Cinemas at Katy Mills Mall
Tickets are available for purchase one week before
the show and you need to buy them early since
tickets are only $1.00! After your movie why not have a
bite to eat in the food court, ride the train or merry go
round or work off some energy rock climbing.

If you are looking for some things to do at home to
keep you children entertained there is still time to
participate in these
13 summer reading programs
that offer incentives, gifts and prizes for participating.  
School begins next month and so now is the time to
learn about a new tutoring service available in the
Katy area, Tutor Doctor which offers free
consultations and works with both your child's school
district curriculum, teachers, homeschooling and
families to help them achieve academic success
whether through a little extra help or by providing
academic opportunities your child may not have
available through traditional means.
